Moving a lead through the pipeline to a booking

How an inquiry becomes a confirmed, scheduled event.

Every booking starts as a lead in the Leads pipeline, grouped into four stages: New Inquiry, Contacted, Quote Sent, and Contract Sent. Each card shows the client, event type and date, and the fee once one's attached.

  1. 1When a new inquiry comes in, it lands in New Inquiry.
  2. 2Once you've reached out, move it to Contacted — or set a follow-up reminder for tomorrow or next week directly from the card if you're not ready to move it yet.
  3. 3As the conversation progresses, mark the quote sent and then the contract sent, right from the same card.
  4. 4Marking a card booked moves it out of the open pipeline and into Bookings, where it shows up under Closest to Booking, sorted by stage and event date.

Closest to Booking is meant to answer one question — which open opportunities are nearest to becoming real, paying work — so you can prioritize follow-up on those first.
