Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information BookingOS collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to bookingos.net and to the BookingOS application (app.bookingos.net).

BookingOS is built for independent event professionals and small teams to manage their clients, bookings, and payments. If you use BookingOS, you're the account holder — this policy covers both your own information and the information you enter about your clients.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password, and business details (business name and contact information) so we can create and secure your account and present your business information correctly on client-facing material BookingOS generates.

Client and contact information you enter. BookingOS is a tool for tracking your own clients, leads, bookings, and payments. Any information you enter about the people you work with — names, contact details, event details, notes, and payment status — is stored so BookingOS can present it back to you. You're responsible for having the right to collect and store that information about your clients, and for handling it in line with any promises you've made to them.

Payment information. Subscription billing (once available) and any payment processing features are handled through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. BookingOS does not collect or store full card numbers or bank account numbers — Stripe handles that directly, subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.

Usage and support information. If you contact support, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can respond and follow up. We don't currently run analytics or tracking tools on bookingos.net or in the BookingOS application — see Cookies and tracking below.

• To provide, maintain, and secure the BookingOS application.
• To display your account and client information back to you — BookingOS doesn't use the client data you enter for any purpose other than operating the product for you.
• To communicate with you about your account, including support requests and important service updates.
• To process payments, once billing is live, through Stripe.
• To fix bugs, improve reliability, and develop the product.

We do not sell your information or your clients' information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run BookingOS — currently Stripe for payment processing, and our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store data on our behalf using reputable cloud infrastructure. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BookingOS, our users, or others.

bookingos.net and the BookingOS application currently use only the cookies or local storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and the product working — we don't run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools today. If that changes, we'll update this policy and this section first.

We keep account and client information for as long as your account is active, so BookingOS can do its job. If you close your account, we'll remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

You can access, update, or correct most of your account and client information directly within BookingOS. To request a copy of your data, or to request deletion of your account, contact us at [email protected] and we'll help directly.

BookingOS is a business tool intended for adults running or working at an event or service business. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as BookingOS changes — for example, as pricing, hosting, or product features evolve. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let account holders know directly.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
