Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of BookingOS, operated by BookingOS ("BookingOS," "we," "us"), including bookingos.net and the BookingOS application at app.bookingos.net. By creating an account or using BookingOS, you agree to these terms. If you're using BookingOS on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to agree to these terms on its behalf.

BookingOS is currently offered as gated early access: accounts are set up individually rather than through self-serve signup. Features and availability may change as the product develops, and we may make reasonable changes to early access accounts — including feature availability — as we move toward general availability. Pricing for the plan you sign up at is locked in as described under Billing. We'll do our best to communicate meaningful changes directly rather than silently.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You own the client, booking, and business information you enter into BookingOS. We use it only to operate the product for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to enter information about your own clients into BookingOS, and for how you use BookingOS in your own business.

You agree not to:

• Use BookingOS for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to BookingOS, other accounts, or the systems behind them.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of BookingOS, including by introducing malicious code.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of BookingOS, except where the law expressly permits it.
• Resell or provide BookingOS to third parties without our written agreement.

BookingOS is $49.99/month on a single plan. The first 20 Founding Members lock in $29.99/month for as long as they're a customer — see Pricing for details. Billing is handled through Stripe. During early access there's no self-serve checkout yet — we set up billing individually with you once your account is approved, and the specific terms for your billing cycle and cancellation will be confirmed at that time and supplement these terms. Self-serve billing is planned for general availability.

You can stop using BookingOS and close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate access to BookingOS if we reasonably believe an account has violated these terms, poses a security risk, or — during early access — if we need to make significant changes to the product. We'll make a reasonable effort to give notice and a chance to export your data before doing so, except where immediate action is needed to protect BookingOS or other users.

BookingOS is provided "as is" and "as available." Especially during early access, features may change, and we don't guarantee that BookingOS will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every specific purpose. You're responsible for keeping your own backups or records of critical business information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookingOS won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, and our total liability for any claim relating to BookingOS will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms as BookingOS changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let account holders know directly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
