Setting up your BookingOS account

Once you're in, BookingOS starts you on the Today view — the prioritized list of what deserves your attention, rather than a dashboard of everything you could look at. Getting set up well now means Today stays useful from day one.

1. 1Add your business details so they appear correctly on anything client-facing (see Updating your business details).
2. 2Add your first few contacts, either by hand or as inquiries come in — see Adding a new contact.
3. 3Take a look at the Leads pipeline (New Inquiry → Contacted → Quote Sent → Contract Sent) so you know where an opportunity sits at each stage.
4. 4Check the Today view once a day to start — Start Here and Payments Due are the two lists worth building a habit around.

A brand-new account starts empty — nothing shows up in Start Here or Payments Due until you've added a contact or two. That's expected; the prioritized picture builds itself as real information comes in.
